Welcome to Gaia's Horse

Me n hazel I am a healer specialising in distance healing on humans, horses and other animals.

I call the healing that I do "listening" as I simply listen in to an individual's inner mind in order to intitiate positive changes and increased awareness of the current situation.

In this blog I am attempting to explain what is "listening" so that you can get your head around what it is that I actually do.   I also write about some of the listening sessions that I have done, focusing mainly on horses but sometimes people and the occasional sheep.

If you would like to request listening then I have a detailed page explaining what you need to do and what to expect.

As part of my journey as a "healer" is the journey with our horse Hazel.  She is the inspiration behind me deciding to devote lots of my time towards listening to horses in an attempt to understand them better and to learn from them.

Finally, a Companion for Hazel - 8th October 2008

After stepping up our search for a companion for Hazel we have finally fostered a little welsh pony from Cottage Rescue  (Warning! Graphic images at this link.  Scroll to the bottom for Misty's story) in Co. Tipperary, Ireland.  Misty, who only has one eye as a result of neglect is about 7 years old and is just 11hh.  (I will put up a picture in the next few days).

When we went to see her at the rescue she seemed to be having a ball runing away from poor Hannah who was hoping to catch her so that we could say hello.  Myself and Chris just queitly smiled, thinking that we don't need to shake hands in order to know that she is perfect for us.  As she strutted her stuff around her paddock she looked like just the kind of horse that Hazel would get on with.  The fact that she is small means that she is even more suitable for us as we don't have a huge field for grazing.  She also doesn't need to be rugged up and so a decent field shelter will see her through the winter. read more...
